Hi fellow Earthlings! I'm finally back on my chair, surfing the net in the night.
I definitely miss these times whereby I lie back and just relaxed- checking out Facebook, blog hopping, reading stuff, simply lazing around. I'm quite anti-social in the sense that I'm rather lazy to go out and have lots of fun, instead I enjoy the silence of the night and just read or watch interesting stuff.
Talking about plans after A's. Probably everyone is enjoying post A's plans and working. However, I do feel empty. I have plans like picking up dance courses, meeting up with friends, knowing more about God (growing deeper, much much more), learning new stuff, but I kinda failed terribly (moreover it is already the end of January, March is so near)! All I did for the past one month was to work and work and work ):
Starting off, it was a new experience (working at Standard Chartered Bank- Admin), I was given the chance to open accounts for people, handling credit cards application forms (pasting barcode, and scanning the barcodes etc) and handling money transfer (faxes) + cheques + salary payroll (this is currently what I'm doing). I never knew it was so tough, in the sense that I had little time having someone to guide me and yet i have to carry such heavy responsibilities. Times like due to late scanning, people can't get their pay on time and customers complain late money transfer etc. I simply have to compete with time because scanning of faxes got to be quick and cheques has to be sent down at a certain time blah blah blah... Hence, I've been working till 7/8/9pm. Worse, my office is at ulu changi business park, I have to rush for shuttle bus (7pm for toa payoh or 730 for city bus). & travelling time is at least 1hour.
HOWEVER! I still enjoy my work because of awesome colleagues and manager! Thanks Candy for helping me with my faxes + cheques (she enjoys TYPING names on the cheques)in the morning even though it means she has piled up work in the afternoon. Thanks Daphne for helping call those companies for confirm payroll details and replying emails regarding faxes and saving me when i create troubles ): Thanks Helen, my manager, who helped record payroll stuff or solving problems because of my mistakes (She is indeed veyr nice, she is willing to help out with some of my work and even joke with me!) & Elaine, Shao Liang, Jasmine, Dahpne, Dennis etc who brought some much joy and also taught me alot! (: Some people do know initially I've the intention of quitting due to the location but I didn't regret staying!Cause the new office is freaking pretty + high tech + pool table + darts!
Anyway I do hope to plan my schedule (not focusing too much on my work and forget about my friends ><): so sorryyy! & I'm thinking of taking up Yoga/Pilates (how about that? & what's the difference btwn the two?)
That's about it about updates for now.
